SEX ASSAULT LIKELY TO ATTRACT LIFE SENTENCE
NEW LAW CABINET TO DISCUSS STRICTER BILL:
My first question is WHETHER LAW HAS EVER SOLVED ANY SOCIAL PROBLEM?
Secondly Can any one tell me ANY PERIOD OF TIME DURING THE KNOWN HISTORY when Rape, sexual assault was not there, when kidnapping and/or abuse of woman was not there? When unnatural sex was not there?
Just ponder over there is NO ASSAULT, RAPE, KIDNAPPING, UNNATURAL SEX AMONG BIRDS & ANIMALS although they remain naked . WHY only among human beings.
We are trying to treat the cancer by operation without getting to the roots of it. Pruning of the tree shall never serve the purpose until we remove the roots. Grass grows of its own, cut the grass, it shall again grow after short time. Law can complicate things but cannot reform society. Society needs to be educated, made to understand things and follow up action is also necessary but no one is serious about social reforms. Money mints money and vices also.There is lot of black money and people holding positions get patronage of Religion, Politics, Govt and the Police and corruption in courts is also not hidden. India is soft heaven for criminals be it Indians and/or from abroad. Justice delayed is justice denied is an old proverb. Too many cooks spoil the dish applies here too that TOO MANY LAWS SPOIL THE SOCIETY.
There are punishments prescribed under the law for MURDER, RAPE, KIDNAPPING, ASSAULT ETC Whether the crime has lessened or increased? Law & Order is deteriorating day by day and even Police men in Uniforms are the culprits and/or the abettors of crime.
Enhancing of punishment shall never solve the problem. We need urgent social reforms from ground level but not from Ministers sitting in A/C rooms and or from Public Representatives who too are not free from . We need public participation Jury system in Republic of India which was there during British Raj but abolished by our own who are FAR from the Public and every thing is in beg miss after Independence.
Only perhaps GOD may save this country which has not solved any problem effecting public.
